The humility of truth

Good morning. I know sometimes you feel like you walk alone, like you have walked alone for so long that you don’t trust others to remain by your side if you let them see that path you have walked.

I can’t say with certainty what makes you want to keep your path concealed. shame for your actions, regret for the words you spoke, sorrow for the empty emotional investment you made and perhaps even continue to make. Sometimes a choice we cast in our past seems to engrave so deeply on our foundation that we seemingly forget that it all started with a choice we made.

It would be wise to know yourself, to deny yourself those actions that carve and erode your foundation. If you are two, one in public and one in private, one in present and one in past, then you are broken. For it is better to be one then to be two.

Do not let the fear of losing that which you currently don’t actually have, prevent you from being true. Anything lost to the truth, when the darkness is made light, was surely never worth any attempt to obtain or keep. If you have affected others by those things you hold in secret and you continue to allow them to walk in the ignorance of their unknowing, then you both surely walk in delusion.

Until you can embrace the actions of your past, the actions you hold in secret, until you accept them and are aware of them and realize that they are part of what has carried you to where you are today. Until they become as the actions you give no worry too, and they are brought into the light, a fracture will remain.

For one who is modest and does have their trousers pulled down, can either buckle their knees in shame or proclaim ‘Behold, my knees. Knotted and unsightly they hold me up and carry my each step forward.’

Be you, be humble, be true, be loved, be accepted, be one, be you.

Keep smiling, you’re worth it!

Always Yours
